CHEAPER RATES FORESHADOWED (British Official News.) Press Association—By Wireless —Copyright. RUGBY, February 21. The Postmaster-General foreshadowed a reduction in the rates of the transatlantic telephone service in a speech made in London this afternoon. He said that a cl\eap service _ was not yet possible, but he hoped it might he found possible to reduce the rate in the near future.
