DEATH OF WEALTHY RECLUSE A MAN DETAINED. LONDON, February 21. A man has been detained in connection with the Bnde murder. Police investigations show that Roadley was wealthier than be was thought
to be. He had £2,000 in tho bank, and inherited £30,000 worth of property in Lincolnshire. A will was found bequeathing all to charitable institutions in Cornwall and Lincolnshire. 1 [Richard Roadley, aged 84, a wealthy recluse with a reputation for generosity for the needy, was battered to death in his home at Bude, Cornwall. The room was ransacked, but a wallet containing £8 was lying on a chair.]
