ARRlVED.—February 21. Calm, s.s. (11 n.m.L 592 tons, Man son, from Wanganui via ports.

TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.

The following are the movements of (he Union Company's vessels_ engaged in the transpacific cargo service: — Waikawn, which left Los Angeles on February 2, left Papeete on Friday for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth; due at Napier February 28. Waitomata, left _ Los Angeles on Tuesday last for Apia, Auckland, 'Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney; due at Apia March 3, and at Auckland March 12.

Wairuna, from Newcastle, leit Suva on Saturday last for Vancouver and San Francisco. Hauraki, from the Pacific Coast, arrived at Auckland on Saturday. She will proceed thence to Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Waiotapu, from the Pacific Coast via Auckland and Wellington, left Melbourne on Saturday last for Sydney to complete discharge. Waihomo, left Auckland January 28 for Vancouver and San Francisco. She is due at Vancouver about February 24, and will load for Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney. The forward loading dated at Pacific Coast ports are approximately as follow ;

Wairuna loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during March for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide., and Sydney. Waiptapu loads at Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles early in April for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. Waikawa loads at Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles late in April and early in May for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, q,nd New Plymouth, and also Bluff and Nelson if sufficient inducement. Hauraki loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during May for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. ‘Waitemata loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during May for New Zealand and Australian ports.
