NEW CHURCH AT OMAKAU
On Sunday next the foundation stone will be laid of the new Roman Catholic Church at Omakau. According to the plans the church is to bo a handsome edifice in brick, with a slate roof, and the stylo will be distinctly Gothic. Mr D. A. O’Connell has the contract, and the architects are Messrs Mandeno and Fraser. Mr J. Peterson is in charge of the work. ■ - .
