BRITISH TANKER LOST DISASTROUS EXPLOSION Pres Association—By Telepraph-—Copyright TOKIO, February 17. (Received February 18, at 1.18 a-m.) Following an explosion aboard the British tanker Chuky, the vessel sank off the Boshu Peninsula. Captain Hernes and fourteen others were drowned. Twonty-fivo survivors clung to the wreck from Wednesday night until Friday morning, and were rescued in an exhausted condition by Japanese fishermen. Thp Chuky was on route to Tokio with a cargo of 72,000 cases of kerosene.—A. and N.Z. and ‘ Sun' Cable.
