A Levin Association message states that a shocking motor totality occurred just after midday at the railway crossing two miles .south of Levin, when the Mew Plymouth express collided with a baker’s van driven by Mr H. W. Eyes, a local master baker. Mrs Eyes, who was accompanying her husband, was killed, and Eyes was seriously injured, and was removed to Palmerston North Hospital. SANDERS CUP-RACE TO BETTY.
