EPIDEMIC ON STEAMER OUTBREAK OF PNEUMONIA Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO, February 16. (Received February 17, at 12.30 p.m.) Sixteen Fjjipinos died of pneumonia aboard the steamer President Cleveland, arriving at Honolulu on Thursday from Manila. There are fifteen other pneumonia cases, and one of smallpox among 500 Filipinos en route to vrork on the Hawaiian sugar fields.
