REDUCTION IN AUSTRALIA SYDNEY, February 16. (Received February 17, at 1.10 a.m.) Under the automatic adjustments provided for by the Federal Pastoral Award, founded on the cost of living, the Board of Reference has reduced the rates for shearers, where they are “ found,” to Is 6d, and where they are not “found” to 2s 3d weekly. Reductions for other shearing employees range from 7d to Is 6d weekly.
