WOMAN MISSING
NO GLUE TO WHEREABOUTS Last night, at about 11, Constable Brown, in charge of the Morningtou police district, was advised that Mrs Elizabeth May Robinson, wife of Mr Adam Robinson, a carter, was missing from her home at 161 Eglinton road, Morningtou, and after various relatives had been communicated with a search of the vicinity was immediately instituted, but so far without result. Mrs Robinson, who is forty-eight years of age, left her home at _8 p.m. to meet her daughter and a sister-in-law, who had been visiting the hospital, at the Mornington tram terminus; but since then nothing has been seen of her, nor are her whereabouts known. This morning a further search was organised by Constable Brown, who, through the agency of the head master of the High Street School (Mr Abel), had twenty-three boys placed at his disposal. These searched the south side of the Belt without result, and at 3.15 this afternoon 100 boys were to search the other side of the Belt. Mrs Robinson, who had been attending the doctor for some time past, was oF a pale complexion, was sft sin in height, dark hair turning grey, thin built, and when last seen she was dressed in a brown coat, grey hat, black shoes, and light stockings.
