CHRISTCHURCH FIRE BOARD
WAYaR FORFEITS SEAT [Feb United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, February 15. At a meeting of the Christchurch Fire Board yesterday evening it was deckled that as the Mayor, the Rev. K. Archer, had been absent from two consecutive meetings without leave he had lost his scat. Steps will now be taken to fill the vacancy, the Government having power to do so.
