A man named Dobrovolsky was sentenced to death for the murder of Kozzio, while another named Goukovitch, who bought the dead man’s clothes, was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment. [A previous message stated: It is reported from Odessa that the Italian vice-consul (Signor Kozzio) was fiendishly murdered. It is supposed that bandits committed the outrage. The thieves pulled out his gold-filled teeth and his gold dental plate.]
