Astounding facts about the illiteracy of Americans have been made public by a prominent American educationalist. He says the United Stales have six illiterates in every hundred, as against two in a thousand In Germany and Denmark. Fifteen million American voters cannot read the English language, and there are 1,400,000 children getting no education of any kind.
