SUICIDE WHILE DEPRESSED. At the inquest on the body of a man who was found drowned in Manukau Harbor, evidence of identification was given by the wife that the body was that of Enoch Edward Morgan, fortytwo years of age. They had two young children, Morgan resigned from the Postal Department at Hamilton in August last, and had since been travelling for different firms. Ho was worried over financial difficulties, and had borrowed money which he was not able to repay. The coroner returned a verdict of suicide while in a depressed stale of mind.—Press Association, DEATH FROM INJURIES. Joseph Pascoe, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Wednesday evening suffering From injuries received by a fall from a motor cycle, died yesterday. A SUDDEN CALL.

The sudden death is reported from Tokomaru Bay of Mrs Win. Oates, wife of a well-known settler, and a member ol the Education Board. The deceased was standing in the back yard talking to her husband when she collapsed and expired.—Gisborne Rress Association telegram. DEATH FROM GAS POISONING. An inquest was held by Mr Riddell, S.M., to-day regarding tho death of Martin Wood Milne, aged forty-live, employed by Miss Chnsp, a typist. Evidence was given that deceased had been in ill-health for some lime following a nervous breakdown, and that lie told Miss Chrisp ho was tired ot life. In returning a verdict of death from gas poisoning, the coroner remarked that Milne had had a lot ot worries, his ill-health, combining with anxiety over the illness of liis wile in the hospital, and with the recent loss of his sister.-—Wellington Press Association telegram. FOUND DEAD. James Vincent Eorclc, single, aged thirty-two, a farmer at Rakhouka was found dead in a swamp with his throat cut. His mental condition had been causing his relatives concern.—-Inver-cargill Press Association telegram. SUDDEN DEATH. • Tho death occurred suddenly in bed this morning of Ivan Desmond Blacklock, the three-year-old son of Mr and Mrs William Blacklock, Melbourne street. It is not yet known whether an inquest will he necessary.
