KAIKORAI BAND IN THE GARDENS

On Sunday afternoon and night the Kaikorai Band will give concerts m the Gardens, when it will play the contest music, as well as several other numbers. The band leaves next week to take part in the New Zealand championship contest, and this will probably be the last opportunity, of nearing it before departure. Last year it annexed the South Island championship, which it now holds, and its playing is of such a high standard that it may justly be expected to do W«U again. A collection will be taken *1 tw. gates.
