ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
FOOT CRUSHED. Through the collapse of a. brick wall in Farish street, Wellington, about 10.30, a laborer, W. E. Dailey, had his left foot crushed, the second toe being fractured, and his shin injured.—Press Association. FOUND DEAD IN OFFICE. The body of Martin Wood Milne, a married man, with one son, was discovered about 9 o’clock yesterday morning in the offices of Miss Chrisp, typist. Miss Chrisp, by whom Milne was employed, mad© tho discovery on arrival this morning, when she_ found the gas turned on Deceased lived in Manama crescent, Wellington, and his wife is at present in hospital.—Wellington Association message. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. Mrs Mary Thom was knocked down by a motor car at the corner of Tory street and Courtenay place, Wellington, at 9 o’clock. Her left wrist was fractured.—Press Association.
