PRINCESS THEATRE

The farewell request programmes which Stud Folev and his versatile baud of mirth provokers have been giving at the Princess Theatre this week have been well attended in spito of the warm weather. The performance is composed of numbers selected from the company’s extensive repertoire by the public, which are given with a sparkling and spontaneous effort. The programme will be repeated to-night, and to-mor-ro wovening’s performance will be the company’s final appearance in Dunedin. GEORGE WALLACE ON MONDAY. The genial George Wallace and his revue company are the next band of entertainers billed to radiate joy at the Princess Theatre. There is no need to make any introduction to Dunedin vaudeville patrons of the capabilities of this brilliant young comedian. This will be the third occasion on which George Wallace and his company have appeared at the Fuller house, and it is announced to he his last. George Wallace intends to visit America and Great Britain, and ho has chosen Dunedin for his farewell performance. He opens on Monday, and continues for a short season of a. few weeks, when the the theatre will be closed for alterations. ‘ Manned Blisters ’ is the title of his latest production, and it is said to be the most uproarious revue that Mr Wallace has even written. He will present this piece, together with a firstrate selection of vaudeville numbers, which are sure to bring down the house. Marshall Crosby, Mane Nymans, Letty Craydon are some of the old favorites who will again make their appearance.
