MILITARY CAMPS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Several camps are in progress at Matarae, and the largest annual encampment (the Otago .Regimental) will commence in less than a fortnight. Recent literature, especially magazines and periodicals, will be needed for the recreation of the troops, and should be sent to the Y.M.C.A. as soon as possible. The Y.M.C.A. tent and plant are used for various purposes during the camp, and are highly appreciated by all under canvas, including the chaplains. I hope that a _ generous response will bo made to this appeal. —1 am, etc., E. 51. s!krrisgton. February 10.
