HAIR-RAISING STORY
A CURE FUR BALDNESS. , The' claim that lie can plant hair that will receive sufficient nourishment, to remain alive permanently is made by Professor Christian Aslikaven, ol Oslo, who arrived in New York recently. Describing his method of operating, tho professor says that he lias perfected a needle which can insert a verj fine gold spring in the scalp to serve as as anchor for the new hair. Baldness, he claims, can be completely overcome. A prominent London hair specialist, asked his opinion, said • “ I don’t believe a word of it. Of course, one cannot judge without knowing full details, but on the face of it it seems impossible. The manager of a well-known firm of hairdressers said; “Absolute rubbish. You will never be able to make hair grow on a bald head.”
