(Received February 9, at 1 p.m./ Sir James Parr opened the Leicester grocers’ exhibition, at which New Zealand has an excellent exhibit, coinciding with the Dairy Board’s campaign in a district which is a Danish stronghold. Representatives of the Institute of Hygiene, speaking at the inaugural luncheon, paid a tribute to ere purity of New Zealand produce. Sir Janies Parr also addressed the Chamber of Commerce. PROPERTY SALE. Messrs E. L. Macassey and Co. offered by auction yesterday at their rooms three properties. The first lot offered was a five-roomed house and freehold section, situated in Melbourne street, South Dunedin, and it was sold to Mrs Humor at £650.
