Bissett, aided by the wind with tho strength of half a gale, was getting up awkwardly, and tho left-handers had a hard task against the wind, Bissett bowled excellently, and was carried off tho field at the conclusion of the match. Slanyforth, addressing an enthusiastic crowd, said ho was sorry they had not Avon tho rubber, but lie thought the result was a true reflex of the play.
