HOW TO CARRY PROHIBITION.

TO THE EDITOR. >ju,—A very large sum of money is expended every general election year in an utterly futile attempt to carry Prohibition, and the Prohibitionists are proposing to repeat their very expensive and futile operations this year. Now, the only possible way, of carrying Prohibition is to get all the Gospel churches in both inlands to preach the ancient and only Gospel (God’s power against evil) indoors and out of doors for at least six months before the electors are called upon to vote. This is a comparatively inexpensive plan, and at the same time sure and certain to achieve the greatest possible vote against the traffic. This is the view of a vast number of men and women in the churches, and it has the support of some of the ablest, most learned, and most experienced men in our midst.—l am, etc, E.T.E. February 8.
