To-day will he the first occasion since King George’s accession on which Queen Marjr has not attended the opening of Parliament, tier absence created a problem regarding tho conduct of the ceremonial proceedings, but the authorities eventually decided to remove the Consort’s throne from the Mouse of Lords on this occasion.
