(Deceived February 7, at 12.15 p.m.) Captain Cant, as the result of inijnines as to bis whereabouts, called at Dishopsgaio Police Station, and as a sequel was charged at Bow Street on SatuiaJay with the misappropriation of New Zealand Government funds. He was remanded.
[A cable on January 0 said that Scotland Yard officials were searching for Captain Arthur Robert Janies Caul, who arrived at Dublin from New Zealand to take over the new Government steamer, Maui Pomare, and subsequently went to Liverpool owing to a revision of plans, since when he has not been seen.]
