OTAGO CLUB. The St. Andrew’s Cross was played on Balmacewen Links on Saturday afternoon under beautiful weather conditions. The links were in perfect condition, and these two iactois enabled competitors to be well up on “the colonel.” J. W. 'irewern, with the excellent score of 8 up, proved the winner. The best scores were:— J. W. Treworn (8), 8 up; J. S. Monro (4), 0 up; E. J. Hocking (5), 5 up; H. Branch (6), 5 up; J. P. Rutherford (11), 5 up; W. G.Wight (2), 4 up; J. Brown (18), 4 up; J. Spence (4), 3 up; H. A. Salmon (ff), 2 up; S. K. Sleigh (6), 2 up; R. E. Hayward (8), 2 up; D. H. Butcher (2), 1 up; \V, M’Kcchnie (12), 1 up.
