The local millers have booked a fair quantity of the now season’s crop forward at prices equivalent to those ruling in the north. Fowl wheat is selling ex truck Dunedin at 6s 6d per bushel (sacks extra), and this represents all the business passing. Chaff.—Very little chalt' is reaching this market, but on tbo other hand there is also very little enquiry, and the outlook from the producers’ point of view cannot bo termed bright by any means. There is plenty available up north to cope with all shipping requirements. Wo quote prime quality at £5 us (sacks extra), ex truck Dunedin. Potatoes.—These arc arriving in small quantities only, and sales aro being effected at £8 per (on (sacks in), ex truck Dunedin.
