INTERNATIONAL LABOR
MARITIME CONFERENCE TO BE HELP Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright GENEVA, February 3. The Labor Office Council has resolved to hold an International Maritime Labor Conference immediately after the Labor Conference in 1929. The council has adopted' the French Government delegates’ motion that the council should examine the procedure to be followed regarding proposals for reviscing “conversations.” The mover (M. Picquenard) said that until this question was discussed the council was unable to consider the British Government- revision proposal. The British Government delegates announced that they reserved the right to place the question of revision, on the 1929 agenda paper. The Labor groups opposed the motion on the ground that the Washington Convention should be upheld.—A. and N.Z. and Sydney 'Sun’ Cable.
