KENSINGTON TENNIS CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The fifth annual meeting of the K. was held last week, when Air If, A. Sims presided over an attend ance of some eighteen members. Ihe annual report and balance-sheet were road, showing that a substantial balance again appeared in the books; so much .so, in fact, that it was decided to reduce subscriptions for the coming season. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr A. R. Lambert; president, Mr F. A. Sims (reelected) ; vice-presidents—Messrs JReid. C. E. Hunt, R. Walker, and P. Shacklock; secretary. Mr W. D.yas; treasurer, Mr R. Taylor; club captain, Mr S. J. WTlliatns; deputy-captain, Mr L. Harris; committee—Misses .M. Dodds and Y. Scott, Messrs F. Sims, W. Dyas, R. Taylor, W. Gibson, and R. Hanson; delegates to D.L.T.C.— Messrs Sims and Gibson. The congratulations of the club were extended to Mrs Riley (nee Miss Ross) and Mrs Weaver (nee Miss Smith) on their marriages during the past year. It was decided to have the opening day on October 1. ___
