HEAVY RAIN IN SYDNEY SHIPPING WARNED, Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, September 17. (Received September 17, at 10.35 a.m.) Exceptionally boisterous weather, with wind reaching a velocity of nearly fifty miles an hour, accompanied by heavy rain, is being experienced on the New South Wales coast, causing minor damage to the city and suburbs and forcing small shipping to seek shelter. A warning of rough seas has been issued to shipping on the Tasman Sea.
