EARTHQUAKE INTI DENT The recent earthrpiake was responsible for an amusing incident. , Three men were smoking, when the shock came. One dropped his cigarette with—well —surprise ; one found himself chewing the end of his; while tho third went on complacently puffing away as though nothing untoward had happened. “ You fellows are suffering horn nerves,” the latter remarked. “Most men do nowadays,” said one of the others “Too much smoking!” “No fear!
