VANCOUVER. September 15. (Received September lb, at 9.30 a.xu.) Winnipeg telegrams report novel scones iu parts of Saskatchewan and Alberta last night, when grain-cutting was proceeded with by moonlight. Farmers took advantage of a hot wind during the day having dried the fields, which were drenched on Tuesday, and their reaping machines and harvesters humming to forestall possible damage by frost.
