Britain is definitely opposing the attempt by Norway, Sweden, and other small States to introduce _a discussion virtually amounting to international consideration of Prohibition under the guise of inducing tho League Committee to recommend international action to prohibit the importation of certain drugs. Britain has made it clear that she cannot agree to the League dealing with domestic problems, though she is willing to allow small private committees to examine the question. LOAN TO GREECE. LONDON, September 13. 'J’ho League’s Financial Committee recommends a loan of £9,000,000 to Greece, guaranteed by an estimated revenue of £5,000,000, and controlled by an international finance commission at Athens. Greece undertakes to stabilise the currency balance and reform the Treasury. LOAN APPROVED OF. LONDON, September 13.
