HARIS, September 12. (Received September 13, at 10.15 a.m.)
An unknown Italian entered the Italian Consulate and said that ho was seeking a. passport, and asked to interview tho vice-consul (Count Carlo Nardini) alone. Alter a few moment', two shots were heard, and the attendants, rushing in, found tho count huddled in his chair mortally wounded in tho chest. His assailant made a resistance, tiring two shots without effect before ho was overpowered and arrested. Tho count died iu hospital, —A. and N.Z. and ‘Sun’ Cable.
