A surprise was caused in the semifinal of the Auckland provincial billiards championship, when E. P. Morrison, of Pukekohe, defeated tho New Zealand champion, G. V. Roberts, of Auckland. The final scores were: Morrison 500, Roberts 441. Roberts made the highest break (70), Morrison’s best being two breaks each of 45.
