FOR TRAINING
AMATEUR ATHLETES ANNOUKGED OTAGO CENTRE'S SCHEME With a view to creating more interest in tlio sport and for the purpose of making every effort to have Otago strongly represented at the New Zea land amateur track and field championships, tlio Otago Centre of tho_ Now Zealand Amateur Athletic A relation recently set up a training and selection committee for the purpose of sorting out likely representatives for special training and instruction, though, of course, the final selection of the Otago team will be made on the form shown at the Otago championships. The Training and Selection Committee announces the following names of athletes picked for special training, though : t should be understood that names may be added to or deleted from the lust between now and tbe date of tbo Otago championships:— 100 Yards.—B Geddes (Invercargill), C.
