At a conference of delegates of the Reform Party at Tuakau yesterday Air Arthur Henry Waring, of Tanpiri, was selected as the Reform candidate for the Raglan by-election. There were seven candidates, and a ballot was hold. Mr Waring, an old iriend ol the Into Mr Bollard, is 07 years of age. He was a successful farmer at 'laupiri, and later established a butchery. He was chairman of Air Bollard’s committee. The four candidates now definitely announced are:— Air Waring (Government). Air W. L. Alartin (Labor). Air 'l'. Parker (Liberal). Air E. Piggott (Independent Labor).
