An explosion sot fire to a film waste works alongside Regent’s Canal, St. Pancras. and was instantly a roaring mass of flames and dense smoko which terrified the mill employees, who. with clothing aflame, jumped out of tho windows into the canal and were rescued by barges. Four others were incinerated, their bodies being found huddled in a corner of the winding room. The foreman was scut to the hospital in a serious condition.—A. and N.Z. and ‘ Sun ’ Cable.
