JOHN T. LEECH RECITAL

On Wednesday next at the Burns Hall the students of Air John T. Leech will present a soug recital. Many wellknown vocalists will appear, including Aliss Stuart Mitchell, Aliss Valda G. APCurdy, Messrs Walter Alitchcll, L. A. North, Arnold Perry, and W. G. Hillikcr. Air Leech and Mr North will he assisted in a duct with an obbligato by Aliss Eva Judd. Aa» interesting feature of the recital will*™ ensemble work. The Lyric Choir of eighty voices will bo heard in a selection of part songs and madrigals, both ancient and modern. The madrigal is the most difficult form of part singing; the union of all the melodies arc so supremely beautiful and succeed each other so naturally as to preclude the thought of calculation. Patrons will have an opportunity of hearing the greatest ensemble number in opera, the glorious “Sextette” from ‘Lucia di Lammermoor.’ Those associated in this number arc Aliss Valda G. APCuicly (soprano), •Aliss Stuart Mitchell (contralto), Mr Walter Mitchell (baritone), Alcssrs Arnold Perry, and James Simpson (tenors), and Air W. G. Hillikcr (basso). Aliss Ena Fountain and Air L. A. James are the accompanists. Tickets may bo purchased and booked free as advertised.
