NEW LONDON ILLNESS. LONDON, August 2S. “Staggering ’fiu ” is the latest summer complaint to strike the metropolis. Mon, who war the bine ribbon of temperance, have arrived home during the last few weeks in the most suspicious condition, lurching up the garden path, and haviim great difficulty in manipulating the latch key. Thousands of people suffering from the malady show most of the symptoms of intoxication, though ne ease is vet reported of a genuine victim putting his umbrella to bed and himself sleeping in the hall. Patients, however, find it difficult to walk a straight line, and lose their sense of direction. Doctors call it “.summer complaint.”
