Tho meeting formed _ itself into a council of mental hygiene. A provisional executive was appointed, consisting of Dr Mooro (convener), Dr Falconer, Professor Lawson, Air J. AI Callaway, and Air Souter. The executive was requested to frame a statement of aims and objects, to consider the production of a suitable pamphlet, and the arrangement of a course of public lectures and other matters. x\ number of graphs showing an uncompleted statistical study of the magnitude of the mental hygiene problem in New Zealand wore exhibited, and supplied some remarkable and surprising figures.
