But this the public are assured of: that the cost of boots has gone up considerably, and that a further rise will take place in the near future; but as a set-off against this there is the fact of a great stock-taking sale now running at Thomas' London Shoe Stores, 32 George street, and at South Dunedin, where the prices of good boots and shoes are as low as possible—even low enough to please tho members of the above Commission.—[Advt.J
