MEETINGS AND SOCIALS.
The annual social of the Hillside Railway Fire Brigade was held in the South 'Dunedin Town Hall, and was attended by about 60 couples, the local and suburban brigades being represented. The hall was suitably decorated for the occasion, and all tho arrangements were well carried out. The success of the evening was due to the energetic M.C.s, Messrs Foreman and Dennison, who were assisted by Firemen Smith, Brookes, and Harrison. Mr J. C. Kroon was caterer, and Messrs Yates and Beath supplied tt» musio.
