PERSONAL.
The Hon. T. Fergus has retired from the firm of Donald Rcid and Co., of which he has been managing director since the. enterprise- was floated into a company. The hon. gentleman, while severing himeelf completely from the cares of business, will continue to fulfil the manifold duties that devolve upon him as chairman of the Education Board and as a member of many other important bodies.
