CITY POLICE COURT. (Before Messrs O. E. Eliott, J. Elmer, and H. F. Hardy, J.P.s.) Drunkenness. --- Archibald M'lte was discharged. Disorderly Behavior.— -James Robertson, charged with disorderly behavior in Stafford street last evening while drank, was fined 10s, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. Prohibition Order. Annie Maxwell Carrie applied for ' a prohibition order against her husband Donald Smith Ovn-U. — The informant having given evidence, the order was made. Abusive Language.— Annie Nixon was charged by Richard Poole with using abusive, language to him.—The defendant, a very excitable woman, complained that she had been incited to use the language in consequence of complainant calling Eer a "low, dirty thing." Although she was a poor pilgrim, and unfortunately had a foolish husband for whom she had to work, she was a pure woman.—The Bench fined her Is and costs, and ordered her to find sureties in the sum of L 5 to keep the peace for three months.
