The Criminal Sessions of the Supreme Court commence on January 2, and the calendar contains eight cases, viz.:— Michael Slattery.—Rape atßalolutha. Harriet Johnson.—Stealing from a dwelling at Hampden George Cohen.—Stealing from the person at Oatnaru. Henry Burnett.—Embezzlement at Queenstown, James J. Hamilton.—Manslaughter at Waikaka. James Oliver White.—Larceny at Dunedin. David M‘Kechnie, alias John M'Fadyen.—Forgery at Dunedin. Andrew Grainger.—Arson at Portohello.
