A SKLIFUL FEAT.
Mr Boyes Bell, the surgeon, whose name has become well known in connection with the Bravo case, recently performed rather a skiltul feat. A man living in one of the small streets in the west of London went up to his bed in perfect health. He was followed in a short time by his wife, who found him almost choking, incapable of speaking, and with blood oozing out of his mouth. A doctor was called in, but he was unable- to discover the cause of the illness or give the sufferer any relief. Another doctor was ■sent for, but he succeeded no better. A third and fourth were tried with the'same result j and at last Mr Boyes Bell was called in. He soon discovered the cause of the illness. The man wore a set of false teeth, and he had swallowed them. The set had dropped lengthwise into his throat, and though not sufficient to choke him, kept him in intense pain, and rendered him incapable of speech. Mr Boyes JBell removed the teeth without lacerating the throat, and in a few minutes the man was comparatively
