RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Friday, December 8. (Before J. Bathgate, Esq., R.M.) Judgment was given for plaintiffs for the amount claimed in the following cases : Henry Scott v. Robert F. Boulton, claim L 4 2s, balance of account for horse and buggy hire; Henry Scott v. Montague Mosley, claim L 8 2s; Thomas Hannau v. Ola Hansen, claim L 6 2s 7d; J. H. Schwabe v. Montague Mosley, claim L 5. M. J. Meenan v. F. Crowder.—Claim L2 7s 9d, for goods supplied. Judgment was given for plaintiff for LI lis 3d, and he was non-suited as to the balance. Barnard Harkin v. N. J. B. M'Gregor.— Claim LlO, on an agreement to split posts. Mr Joyce appeared for plaintiff; Mr G. Cook for defendant. Judgment for plaintiff for L 8 and costs. Mew Zealand Tablet Company v. Thomas Ennis—Claim, L 8 2s 6d. Mr M'Keay appeared for plaintiffs, and stated that an arrangement had been come to with the defendant to pay the amount by instalments of 10s per week.—Judgment was given accordingly. George Moran v. Halfway Bush Road Board.- Claim, L2O. Mr Finn, for defendants, asked for an adjournment, which Mr C. R. Chapman, for plaintiff, consented to. —His Worship adjourned the case until Monday, the 18th instant, and advised the opposing parties to try and reconcile their difference in the meantime.
