WOOL SALES.
Messrs Carsills, Gibbs, and Co. received a telegram of 4th December from Helmuth, Schwartze, and Co., which confirms the Sydney telegrams published yesterday respecting the wool sales. It is as follows : Since our last telegram the attendance of Home and foreign buyers has increased. The sales closed firm. Prices are as high as at any period of this series. The total quantity catalogued in this series comprises 206,000 bales.
