Sutherland, 82; Capt. Orbell, 80; Vol. Beal, 78. It was a beautiful morning. TALL SCORING. At the Waikouaiti butts, on Monday last, Vol. F. Beal made some excellent shooting when at practice. At 300, 400, and 500 yards, five shots at each range, he made the splendid score of 55 points out of a possible 60. He scored at the different ranges as under 800 yards. 400 yards. 500 yards. 34444 44444 23344 THE LADIES’ CHALLENGE SHIELD, On Wednesday last the No. 1 Company Clutha Rifles fired for the choice of a team to shoot in the Challenge Shield match.
