A NUISANCE.

To the Editor, Sir,—The Inspector of Nuisances would do well to occasionally take a trip up Rattray street. I had to vißit the locality yesterday afternoon, and the stench from the gutters was unbearable, the foul water apparently coming from the High School or other large buildings, flowing for upwards of an hour, the whole length of the street. As we are likely to have very hot weather, this should be put a stop to. Prevention is better than cure.—l am, &c, T. Dunedin, November 22.
