November 16.—Jessie Nicol, schooner, 93 tons. Peterson, for Kaipara. The s.s. Express arrived at Port Chalmers this morning from the South. She left Eiverton at 11 p.m. on the 14th; reached the Bluff at 2 a.m. on the loth; loaded and left at 5 p.m. The schooner Jessie Nicol sailed this forenoon for Kaipara. . Messrs P. Henderson and Co.’s ship Dunedin arrived off the Heads at 6 a.m., with immigrants from Glasgow. Captain Whitson reported that there had been some sickness during the voyage, but that at the present time all were well. She will probably bo brought up to the anchorage this afternoon by the tug Geelong. . The Countess of Errol, a smart looking barquentme of 218 tons register, arrived at Port Chalmers this forenoon with a full cargo of sug. r consigned to Messrs W. and J. Scouliar of this City. She left Mauritius on October 10, and carried S.E. winds to Iftt. 26 S., then the wind shifted to the N.N.E. and lasted, for about three days, then going round from 8. w. to N.E.; then encountered several hard gales • passed Cape Leenwin on October 26; on the 28th experienced a strong N.E. gale, and was hove-to lor twelve hours. The gale moderated on the following dr.y, and thence up to the land had N.W. to N, winds; passed the Snares on the 12th inst., and met hght winds from E. to S. along the coast; made Tairoa Heads at 6 p.m. yesterday, and was towed up this forenoon by the p.s. Iron Age. Shipping Telegram. Auckland, November 15.— The barque Ada Weswell is loading timber at Tikopuru for Dunedin.
